1992-2017 ICU Scandinavia 25 years
ICU Scandinavia AB was founded in 1992 (25 years ago), we plan no big celebration but of course we are proud of how our company has developed since its inception …. and we will probably celebrate a little bit later this year.
In the early 90s we were young engineers with big dreams. We developed and sold our own monitoring system and we developed a variety of electronic products with clients in diverse industries such as the pharmaceutical industry, mobile telephony, video broadcasting, home appliance industries etc.
In 1998 we developed the first generation Boomerang – automatic temperature monitoring – and since then, our focus is to deliver quality systems that help our customers meet regulatory requirements when producing and offering services in its three main areas: laboratories, cold storage and food security. 2012 we incorporated CoolGuard – web-based food safety – in our offer.
Today we offer “Boomerang for laboratories” and “CoolGuard for food safety,” we are approaching 1,000 customers (mainly in Scandinavia), and many thousands of users log into our system daily. We feel that we have a very good working relationship with all our customers and our plan is to continue to improve Boomerang / CoolGuard so that even more laboratories / clinics / pharmacies / restaurants / catering producers / food manufacturers / etc. will chose ICU Scandinavia as partners in their efforts to ensure the quality of their offerings. Maybe we can no longer call us “young”, but we still have big dreams.
